Dr. Muh was very helpful in letting me know what options were available to me for treating my shoulder for a rotator cuff tear. I opted to have the surgery, and was able to have the procedure done within just a few days. The rehab regimen provided by Dr. Muh was very effective for getting my shoulder back in shape in less time than I anticipated. I have no pain at all, and no loss of mobility in my shoulder. Dr. Muh is an excellent surgeon. I was in a lot of pain and couldn't use my right arm anymore and sleeping was painful also. Five years before my shoulder replacement I had rotor cuff surgery and was told by him it was ripped so badly it was a one time fix. It did work for about 5 years then it ripped and my last surgeon said he couldn't fix it but recommended Dr. Muh and said she was excellent. It has been a year since my surgery and it is the best my shoulder has felt in years!! You can't tell which shoulder was replaced. I would highly recommend Dr. Muh. Dr. Muh is the BEST!!! I was able to see Dr. Muh quickly. She was upfront about my injuries, very professional and laid out a treatment plan that was understandable. She clearly knows what she's doing. Dr. Muh did a complete replacement for my bone on bone arthritic shoulder almost 3 years ago. In her assessment I was a candidate for a standard replacement in contrast to the reverse process which was suggested in my first consultation. She made the right call! I had a massive rotator cuff tear. The recovery for such a surgery is 18 months. Under Dr. Muh's care, she repaired the tear and slowly monitored my progress while working with a physical therapist. After years of pain and no results from various treatments from other doctors, Dr. Muh properly diagnosed the injury, repaired it, and set me up with an 8-12 month recovery protocol that has me back to 90% after a mere 7 months. I had my right shoulder repaired on May 01-2017 by Dr. Muh and her team. My shoulder was quite a mess with full tears of both the supra/infraspinatus tendons. I also had torn my bicep tendon. Before I continue, I should mention that I am right-handed. I saw the team today for a 6 month post-op exam. I am delighted with the results that Dr. Muh and her team, helped me achieve. I only saw Dr. Muh in clinic for a cortisone shot to help with my tennis elbow. She is easy to talk to. Explained in detail what she was doing, while she was doing it. And even engaged my 5 year old son in conversation. That in itself is above and beyond for me. Many drs today seem to not have time and be rushed while seeing patients. Dr. Muh is a very professional doctor. Dr. Muh was very empathic and showed a genuine concern for my health. I liked how Dr. Muh made decisions about my broken shoulder without jumping the gun and doing surgery without making sure I was totally healthy to have the shoulder replacement. She ordered a EMG in which the test revealed I had nerve damage and referred me to a neurosurgeon in hopes the neurosurgeon can repair the nerve then she would proceed with the shoulder replacement.
